Chromabeats is a Chicago based music duo that creates electronic music for various applications such as yoga and meditation, modern dance performance, sound healing, and study music.

Marshall Greenhouse (Mancho) and Wiebe Ophorst (functionless) first met in 2016, jamming classic rock, funk, reggae and jazz as drummer and bassist (respectively) before taking the plunge into electronic realms; opening a world of sound and interesting projects. Chromabeats fuses Mancho’s deep background of ethno rhythmic study with functionless’ experience in orchestral stylings and modern production technique.

Performing as Chromabeats since 2019, the duo has toured nationally, performing at music venues, social movement festivals and live yoga classes, as well as creating a library of studio recording sessions available online ranging from experimental to meditation and dance to lofi.
